Let's go back to my first week in Cape Town....

Me on top of the famous Table Mountain! This was an absolutely gorgeous experience! We took a cable car up the mountain and then took hikes into gorges and valleys to view even more beautiful scenery from atop this mountain that look over Cape Town!

The above picture is of Rosie and I in her kitchen. Rosie runs a soup kitchen for all of the children in the township of Khyelitsha. She was a single mother who started this service from scratch after her husband left her and her children after a house fire. Rosie never turns anyone down for food, especially the children who are hungry before they go to school in the morning. Once all the children have been fed she serves the adults food. People have donated her house and everything in it! She never bought one thing! Pretty amazing!

Hey Anna,
I am soooooo loving technology right now. I can't believe I am in Florida and you are in South Africa and we can communicate! It is such a blessing. I am so proud of you, you sound great, you look amazing, and you are taking FANTASTIC pictures! What a dream come true for you!
I miss you even though I would still be missing you if you were in MN!
Take care of yourself!
Love and prayers-
Michele :)

Hey sweetie pie, you are doing such a great job of keeping us informed on everything...I can't keep up with all of your cRaZiNeSs!:) But I love your stories...the only hard part is, since I've been home from Europe I've totally had the 'travel bug,' and your pics of Africa are feeding my temptation to travel all over the world right now--haha!I love you and miss you always...
